I was a youth pastor in Alvin for many years, and I continue to have that strong desire to serve people. In 2014, I was named the Citizen of the Year by the Alvin-Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce. In the last few years, I served as the chair of the Youth Roundtable Committee for the Chamber. J.J. (Judy) McElreath is a native of Groves, Texas; but has lived in the Houston/Alvin area for most of her life. She was employed by Magcobar (M-I/SWACO), a major oilfield service company based in Houston, for over 35 years. Held numerous management positions within the Production/Purchasing & Logistics department; the last position with MI/Swaco was Manager of Production Planning. The major assets she brings to Real Estate are experience and expertise in purchasing, documentation, problem solving and negotiating. She served for fifteen years as an officer on the Board of Directors for Southern Star Credit Union (formerly Dresser Central Credit Union). Has been an active agent in the Texas Real Estate market for the past fifteen years.
